American Diamond (CZ) Jewellery

American diamond is the Indian trade name for cubic zirconia: a lab-made stone cut with the same facet geometry as a diamond, which is why it throws that hard, white sparkle under any light. It is not a diamond and it is not sold as one — it is a very good-looking substitute.

CZ suits the pieces where brilliance matters more than colour: halo studs, tennis bracelets, solitaire-style rings and fine pendants. Under evening light or a camera flash it outperforms almost every other imitation stone.

Because CZ is hard, it holds its polish well. The plating around it will always age faster than the stone does.
